Designed by the ubiquitous Hendrik de Keyser, it has managed to remain standing since 1614, so it should last through your dinner of new Dutch cuisine. In fact, take time to enjoy its famous local specialties, such as succulent lamb from the North Sea island of Texel and honey from Amsterdam's own Vondel Park. There are also expertly prepared fish plates, such as turbot on a bed of beetroot and nettle leaves.
Charming restaurant located in a historic 17th century merchant house. Traditional Dutch interior with stone floor, wooden tables and chairs and dark wooden beams on the ceiling.
