A new unique location at a special historical site! The long, rich history of this monumental building, located in the centre of Amsterdam alongside the prestigious Herengracht, begins in 1618 when a confectioner’s bakery was built here. Later the founder of the V.O.C., a number of mayors and Maria Luyken lived here. The latter was responsible for the beautiful renovation which took place in 1728. The wall and ceiling paintings by Jacob de Wit and Isaac de Moucheron - in Louis XIV style - give the house its unique character and are extremely well preserved. Here you are reminded of the virtues during life! A dazzling staircase takes you from top to bottom through the entire building.
A unique location with authentic style rooms where you can receive your guests for an intimate dinner or sparkling presentation. In the restyled salon and lounge, adjecent to the beautiful garden, you immediately wander around in a Hotel Costed-like ambiance. Both rooms are suitable for informal parties or receptions. The typical loft offers a lot of possibilities for a special party, a business presentation or an elegant gala dinner

The authentic style rooms are perfect for dinners and presentations. Both rooms can be connected to each other. If the two style rooms are used together, the maximum capacity is 80 persons for a seated dinner. If they are used seperately the maximum capacity for seated dinners is in style room 1 48 persons, 32 persons for style room 2.
There is also the possibility for receptions / walking dinners, maximum capacity for style room 1 is 90 persons and 60 persons for style room 2. Joint together the maximum capacity is 150 persons.
In these rooms is slightly enhanced music possible without bass, this related to the vulnerability of the 18th-century paintings.

Annex including garden: These areas are perfect for walking dinners and receptions. There is also the possibility to connect the areas with the garden. Maximum capacity for the annex is 60 persons (dinner room) and 80 persons (bar), joint together the maximum capacity is 140 persons for reception and walking dinner. The historic garden with large terrace is perfect for outdoor matters and receptions. Maximum capacity approximately 100 persons and 30 persons dinner or lunch.
