This unique stylish building dates from 1671 and was designed by the famous architect Adriaen Dortsman. The master painter Ferdinand Bol was the first occupant and in 1884 the property came into the possession of the wealthy merchant Hendrik van Loon, who proceeded to further enhance the interior. Nowadays the house has been turned into a private museum, which shows unique pieces of art, family portraits and furniture. Walk around the museum and private rooms on the first floor and see the beautiful French styled gardens where (weather permitting) cocktails can be served.
