Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA) lies at the edge of the city centre and offers conference and exhibition facilities, shops and catering facilities.
PTA can rightly be called a transport crossroad between land and water. All possible forms of transport come together at the terminal. This means that each conceivable group of visitors to the terminal receives an optimal service. Preparations are currently underway for an in-house coach park, a water taxi connection to Central Station which is 500 metres from the terminal, a dedicated stop for the IJ-Tram, a car park for 400 cars, a harbour for 30 tour boats, a quay for river cruise boats, taxi ranks and various shuttle buses.
